Dear Naidu,
This comment has nothing to do with ur profound and illustriously celebrated poetry and its nuances. And It is also not applicable to this particular poem. It is a general comment, rather a suggestion.

Don’t be presumptuous that the reader of ur poetry blog knows u personally, or is known to u. Coming to my case, personally I know u for the last 17 years. It doesn’t mean that the poet- Naidu is well known to me. So, knowing the poet on personal front does not help to understand his poetry. Sometimes, personal relation with the poet may prejudice the reader. While stopping to beat around the bush, I come to the crux.

U r posting ur poems. For example, u posted 6 poems on June 9, 2010. Are those 6 poems penned on June 9th? Or, are you posting ur old poems for the browsers of your blog, to know their opinion your old poetry? If so, when were they written? Are they from your collected anthology? If so, which anthology (reader doesn’t know how many anthologies are published in your credit)? When the anthology was published? When the poem was written?

Poet, in general, may not pin down the specific date and time of a poem, as the verses of the poem linger intermittently around the poet, before they yield on a paper. But, poet must mention a tentative period of the poem. If all the poems are penned on the very day, that information gives a different picture about the poet to the reader. Specifying the above details is the basic responsibility of the poet.

Personally speaking, I dislike reading all/ many poems of any poet at a stretch, because, I would like to be in the aura of the poem for awhile. Why don’t you give ur readers that facility of experiencing the poem, instead of pouring many?

regards,
- Naresh Nunna.

I agree with Naresh. I think I have suggested you to maintain penned date along with the blog date or what ever it is. A reader expects to see where a poet is going and where he is coming from. Specially poetry like yours which already making a readers life quite difficult, must maintain penned date. This is also important after 20 years when Naidu's Poetry is read more seriously by many. Please help the future (if not present)literary community by maintaining a chronology.
